Our 2025 theme was “Every Soul Deserves Love,” inspired by Raj’s love of sneakers, and we encouraged people to show people love in the way that resonates with them. We had a lot of firsts this year! We launched our official branding, and piloted our partnership program, partnering with 16 businesses, schools, and other organizations in doing good. We also got our first news feature on ABC 11, and April 15th was recognized as the Raj Mehta Day of Good by the Governor of North Carolina. It marked the launch of our Day of Good, Together program, where community members organized their own initiatives—including the first co-branded Run for Raj at Duke University. We also introduced a theme for the first time, encouraging people to be more intentional in their acts of kindness. It was inspiring to see so many give their loved ones their flowers while still enjoying them for themselves. This year was the year we started building our community! We had people register to participate for the first time and were able to see just how big this day of action was (314 registered participants in 35 states and 6 countries). This was also the first year that we had a sticker made, inspired by the sunrise that kept Raj’s sister going after his passing.
